  • About

I met my first large floor loom in 1984 when I was at the Melbourne College of Textiles completing a degree in Fashion Design & Construction. Unfortunately, at the time, we didn't have an on-going relationship.

It wasn't until 2012 when I saw a travel documentary which depicted Maria Gonidou weaving on the island of Nafplio (Greece) that I thought 'now's the time to do that'.

Being recently retired from teaching I was able to return to my love of fabrics and designs. I studied with Liz Calnan for three years. Now weaving on a 32 shaft Toika computerised floor loom, Louet Spring 12 shaft floor loom and Louet Jane 8 shaft table loom.
