Anita Larkin is represented by Defiance Gallery, Sydney. Using collected objects, direct casting of the human body, and felt, her sculptures intentionally and playful disrupt the familiar.

Anita Larkin is represented by Defiance Gallery, Sydney and has a Bachelor of Visual Arts from Sydney College of the Arts (1993).
Larkin has exhibited since 1994 with many of her works now in public collections such as Wollongong Art Gallery and The Australian War Memorial Art Collection. Larkin’s work has featured in numerous group shows including, Sculpture by the Sea, The Wynne Prize AGNSW, UWS Acquisitive Sculpture Award, The Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize, The Blake Prize, The Tamworth Textile Triennial and The Beijing International Art Biennale.
Larkin teaches sculpture and feltmaking workshops and is also a sessional lecturer at the National Art School.
