Her diverse Performance background is reflected in unique music experiences she develops with others, or creates herself in unique settings. Her special research interest in the Performance/Stress/Health Triangle applicable to all performance-related areas has made her work as Performance Coach over the last 15 years increasingly in demand.

Carmel Liertz created the first five-week Training Program for Performance Confidence as part of her academic research on performance confidence for musicians (M.Ed. Hons Canberra University 2002) which was recognized internationally in 2014 as an innovative performance education method with wellness focus. Her program/book for musicians is used at London’s Royal Academy of Music and The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Munich’s Musikhochschule for Musik and available at many Australian colleges and tertiary music institutions.
