Location Wollongong
Artist Type Semi Professional
Complex, intense, expressive work inspires me. Whether its photography, painting or writing, I prefer to explore and speculaterather than distill to the simple.
Lyricism, drama, humour and the exploration of the past, are my natural inclinations.
Worked for decades on creating long-distance walking track (Great North Walk), photography, painting and writing, with greatest devotion to writing travel, poetry and novels, plus a liking of photography (plus ten years teaching it) and experimentation.
Always interested in collaborations.
member of Write-On Authors, and other groups.

About
I work mainly as an author of fiction and travel, always informed by the poetic and lyrical I am a anti-romantic romantic, meaning love and beauty are central but history is a cruel mistress (or master if you wish). So my novels, sent in 1988 to as far back as 1503, are people in the grip of history. One way or another they must to come to terms with it.
Travel writing centres of France and Spain, in particular the Camino de Santiago. With ten works on or about it, I am its most prolific author. My other passion is photography. After representation in twenty European exhibitions, I have turn to explore our coastal Intertidal Zone, between low and high tides.
