Artist Type Professional
I’m a photographer based in Gerringong, on the NSW South Coast. When I'm not photographing weddings, I regularly photograph landscapes, nature, and wildlife as well as architecture and real estate.
- About
Natural beauty is what drew me into photography initially. I’m equally at home in the pre-dawn light, ready to capture the peaceful sunrise; or waiting patiently to get an amazing bird photo; or getting in nice and close for some detail shots of the amazing geometrical patterns found in nature. These images translate into fantastic wall art and prints, or even great stock imagery for websites and other publications!
In the same way that I find beauty in the geometric patterns in nature, I am also drawn towards beautifully designed structures and urban artwork. I'll happily shoot anything ranging from a simple residential home, up to world famous monuments or buildings.
- Biography
I caught the photography bug while working for Parks Australia. I spent a lot of time curating a massive collection of beautiful professional photography, and was also given an opportunity to take photos on occasion. I must have had a bit of natural talent, as I later went on a couple of dedicated photography trips to Booderee National Park in Jervis Bay, and also to Kakadu – amazing experiences!
Based on the feedback I was receiving about my work, I took a leap of faith and quit my job at the start of 2014 to start working on photography full time – at the same time moving to Gerringong, an incredibly photogenic part of the NSW South Coast.
