Artist Type Semi Professional
I am a multi-disciplinary artist and secondary school teacher. My art practice currently involves workshops in drawing, print making, book binding and textile colouration.
I use a contemporary approach to my art practice. My chosen materials are very specific in conveying a particular profile or connection to the sitter/subject matter. I specialise in portraiture, animals as well as people. My passions include drawing in all mediums closely followed by painting in oils. My methods in printmaking allow the opportunity to integrate and manipulate photographic images in combination with colour and text.
Fifteen years in Arts and Education have enabled me to construct powerful workshops. My students benefit from highly informative and constructive classes that inspire their creative side and develop skills that feed their passion.
I am a contemporary/post modern artist. I am a qualified teacher in Secondary Education.
