About
I am an Abstract Expressionist Artist painting in oils on canvas and drawings on paper or ribbed cotton using pencil, graphite, charcoal, gouache and colour pencils. Part of my abode is a light filled studio which is across the road from Wollongong city beach. My local landscape keys my Art. My Art is calligraphic and spontaneous in nature and my influences are Cy Twombly, Gerhardt Richter and Anselm Keifer.

Biography
I grew up in Mosman NSW and then attended Alexander Mackie School of Art. I managed the Art House at a Rudolf Steiner centre and I have taught drawing and painting at both WEA Illawarra & St George Community College. In 2003 I received a commendation award from WCC & RAIA for the renovation of our family home in Coledale. A Bundanon residency in 2012 gave me new directions with an exhibition at Gallery Lane Cove. Currently I am an Arts advisor for Accessible Arts.
