About
I am fascinated by my natural environment and by the fragility of nature, especially the land/ocean, coastal areas and their unique plants, animals and marine environments. I am inspired by actual objects found in my environment and by the landscape, looking at both the micro and the macro view of my home. In my interdisciplinary creative expression I enjoy creating soundscapes and jazz improv that also reflects this same vision. In this way my inspiration is expressed through visual arts and music simultaneously. I enjoy painting commissions, especially in watercolour and joining in with music groups.

Biography
In my working career I have been continously involved in teaching, art and music. I am particularly interested in multidiscipilary artistic expression. I am interested in sculpture as a means of reflecting on the wider ideals of humanity while at the same time using recycled and local materials, appreciating the integrity of human endeavour and hope for the future. My interest in the enviroment is expressed through my paintings, sculptures and my music. Creative improvisation and soundscapes presented in collaboration with community involvement and inclusiveness are something I greatly value doing and wish to continue.
